The veterinarians and staff at Ocean State Equine are committed to providing our clients and patients with quality, compassionate veterinary care at an affordable price. Therefore we would like our clients to understand that by requesting services from OSEA you agree to the following:
Payment is due at the time of service. We accept cash, check, money order, Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express. Unpaid balances will accrue interest at a rate of 18% on or after the 28th of each month.
For your convenience we can keep credit card information on file. If you are interested in this option please call the office and speak with Monica in our Accounting Department.
If you will be absent when a veterinarian is attending your horse/horses we require that payment be left at the barn or be arranged in advance with our Accounting Department.
Delinquent Accounts: Ocean State Equine Associates will not provide veterinary services to a client with a delinquent account.
Estimates are given for all in-hospital services at the time of admission. A deposit of 1/3 of the estimated cost is required at the time of admission. The remainder of the balance is due when your horse is discharged.
Estimates are not usually given prior to work done on routine farm calls. If you need an estimate please ask at the time you make your appointment or prior to the vet arriving at your farm. In general, payment plans are not available for routine or elective procedures. Emergency situations will be considered on a case by case basis.
Returned checks incur a $20 fee on account.
